Production Orders

Creating a Production Order

1. Go to Karya > Production Orders
2. Click + New Production Order
3. Select the product to manufacture
4. Enter the quantity to produce
5. Select the BOM version to use
6. Set the planned start and end dates
7. Click Create

Production Order Lifecycle

• Draft — Order is being prepared
• Confirmed — Materials are reserved, ready to start
• In Progress — Production has started
• Quality Check — Finished goods are being inspected
• Completed — Order is done, goods added to inventory
• Cancelled — Order was cancelled before completion

Starting Production

1. Open a confirmed production order
2. Click Start Production
3. The system checks material availability:

- If all materials are in stock, production begins

- If materials are short, you'll see a shortage alert with options to procure

1. Workers log their progress per operation/work center

Tracking Progress

The production order dashboard shows:

• Overall progress — Percentage complete
• Per-operation status — Which steps are done, in progress, or pending
• Material consumption — Actual vs planned usage
• Time tracking — Actual hours vs estimated hours

Completing Production

1. When all operations are done, click Mark as Complete
2. Enter the actual quantity produced (may differ from planned due to scrap)
3. Report any scrap or waste with reasons
4. Finished goods are added to inventory automatically

Quality Tracking

After production, perform quality checks:

1. Click Quality Check on the completed order
2. Fill in the inspection checklist
3. Mark each item as pass or fail
4. Failed items can be sent for rework or marked as scrap

Reports

• Production Summary — Orders by status, product, and period
• Efficiency Report — Planned vs actual time and material usage
• Scrap Report — Waste by product, operation, and reason
• Work Center Utilization — Capacity usage per work center
