Production Orders in Kinexa Karya
Production Orders
Creating a Production Order
- Go to Karya > Production Orders
- Click + New Production Order
- Select the product to manufacture
- Enter the quantity to produce
- Select the BOM version to use
- Set the planned start and end dates
- Click Create
Production Order Lifecycle
- Draft — Order is being prepared
- Confirmed — Materials are reserved, ready to start
- In Progress — Production has started
- Quality Check — Finished goods are being inspected
- Completed — Order is done, goods added to inventory
- Cancelled — Order was cancelled before completion
Starting Production
- Open a confirmed production order
- Click Start Production
- The system checks material availability:
- If all materials are in stock, production begins
- If materials are short, you'll see a shortage alert with options to procure
- Workers log their progress per operation/work center
Tracking Progress
The production order dashboard shows:
- Overall progress — Percentage complete
- Per-operation status — Which steps are done, in progress, or pending
- Material consumption — Actual vs planned usage
- Time tracking — Actual hours vs estimated hours
Completing Production
- When all operations are done, click Mark as Complete
- Enter the actual quantity produced (may differ from planned due to scrap)
- Report any scrap or waste with reasons
- Finished goods are added to inventory automatically
Quality Tracking
After production, perform quality checks:
- Click Quality Check on the completed order
- Fill in the inspection checklist
- Mark each item as pass or fail
- Failed items can be sent for rework or marked as scrap
Reports
- Production Summary — Orders by status, product, and period
- Efficiency Report — Planned vs actual time and material usage
- Scrap Report — Waste by product, operation, and reason
- Work Center Utilization — Capacity usage per work center
