Enrollments & Certificates

Enrolling Students

There are several ways to enroll students in a course:

Self-Enrollment:

  1. Students browse the course catalog
  2. Click Enroll on the course they want
  3. They can start learning immediately

Admin Enrollment:

  1. Go to Bina > Enrollments
  2. Click + New Enrollment
  3. Select the course and the students (individual or by group/department)
  4. Set a deadline (optional)
  5. Click Enroll

Auto-Enrollment:

  • Set rules in Bina > Settings > Auto-Enrollment
  • Example: "All new employees are auto-enrolled in Onboarding Course"
  • Triggered by department, role, or hire date

Tracking Progress

Monitor how students are doing:

  1. Go to Bina > Progress
  2. Filter by course, student, or department
  3. View per-student details:

- Lessons completed vs total

- Quiz scores

- Time spent on each lesson

- Last activity date

The progress dashboard shows:

  • Completion Rate Percentage of enrolled students who finished
  • Average Score Mean quiz/assignment scores
  • Drop-off Points Where students tend to stop
  • Time to Complete Average days to finish the course

Certificates

Issue certificates to students who complete a course:

Setting Up Certificates:

  1. Open the course settings
  2. Click the Certificate tab
  3. Enable certificate issuance
  4. Customize the certificate template:

- Upload your company logo

- Set the certificate title and body text

- Choose the layout and color scheme

- Add instructor and organization signatures

  1. Set completion criteria: all lessons complete, minimum quiz score, etc.
  2. Click Save

Automatic Issuance:

When a student meets the completion criteria:

  1. The certificate is automatically generated
  2. Student receives an email notification
  3. Certificate is available for download in their profile
  4. A unique verification code is assigned for authenticity

Verification:

Anyone can verify a certificate:

  1. Visit the verification page (e.g., kinexa.id/verify)
  2. Enter the certificate code
  3. The system confirms the holder, course, and issue date

Reports

  • Enrollment Report Enrollments by course, period, and status
  • Completion Report Completion rates and trends
  • Quiz Performance Score distribution and question analysis
  • Certificate Report Certificates issued by course and date
  • Learning Hours Total hours of learning across the organization
